The secluded location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature.
Although we had some initial difficulty contacting the owners and locating the key, these were minor setbacks that were quickly resolved. We would have appreciated a welcome tray or at least some milk and tea upon our arrival, along with instructions for the lodge.

The location of the lodge was very secluded, providing a peaceful and private experience. It was surrounded by beautiful nature, with stunning views of the surrounding area. the lodge had a cozy and rustic charm, giving it a unique and authentic feel.
For the last four days, there was no heating or hot water available, which made for a very uncomfortable experience. the lack of phone or internet reception made it difficult to get in touch with the owners for assistance.

The room at Bidean Lodge was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The private bathroom with a bath was a real treat, offering a relaxing escape after a long day of exploring. As a person who loves taking baths, this was definitely a highlight for me.
Personally, I found the shower pressure in the bathroom a bit weak. But hey, that's just my opinion and I'm sure others might still enjoy it.
